Born and raised in La Paz, Bolivia, Mariana’s first language is Spanish. After graduating from College, and studying English in a language institute, Mariana started working in the tourism industry in her home country, before switching careers for a new path in the education field.
As Mariana’s passion for education grew, she decided to become a Spanish teacher. Since then, she has been working with students of all ages, from elementary to high school. After twelve years of teaching in different countries, she relocated to the United States, where she switched her teaching career to become a virtual educator.
In her free time, she likes traveling, reading, stitching and her favorite sport is swimming. She also likes spending time with her son and her pets.
Currently Mariana lives in California. She is very excited to join Freestyle Languages, to share her passion and enthusiasm for learning other languages, and help others towards success in their language journey.
