Christine Vergara grew up in Peru and moved to the United States in 2013 at age 30. She speaks Spanish as her first language and English as her second, and she enjoys helping others bridge cultures through language.
Christine earned a degree in Secondary Education with a focus on English and German and completed additional studies in Spanish linguistics. With almost two decades of teaching students of diverse backgrounds, she enjoys helping learners gain confidence to succeed.
In her free time, Christine enjoys music and karaoke, dances, explores the universe through documentaries, goes to the park with her husband, and plays with her cats. She values Freestyle’s supportive community and appreciates how it helps learners make the most of their courses.
