Chaoyue was born in China and immigrated to the United States at the age of 15. He was a teaching assistant for Chinese language classes at his high school, where he curated mini-lecture content and created supplemental materials for the students. Through this experience, Chaoyue learned the impacts of language on people's perception of a culture. Currently Chaoyue is a sophomore at the University of Texas at Austin, majoring in accounting and he plans to pursue a master's degree in professional accounting.
In his free time, Chaoyue enjoys watching movies, playing badminton, and cooking. He loves watching action or science fiction movies such as John Wick and Interstellar. He is excited to join the Freestyle Languages team to work with other talents to create a smooth operation and logistics for the employees and students.
